Here comes IkerGazte 2019. We sucessfully rosed to the challenge and organised the first IkerGazte in 2015. In 2017 we went one better and organised the second IkerGazte to a greater success. We are now excited to be organising the 3rd event of IkerGazte in 2019. Our journey began in Durango, moved to Iruñea/Pamplona for the second event and the next stage will be held in Baiona/Bayonne.

We, Basque researches from all subjects will meet again in IkerGazte 2019. We expect to welcome, not only those excellent researches from previous years, but also new attendees who were not able to previously attend. Language is in everything that we do and very important to us all, because, we, Basque researchers carry out research at universities and research centers in the Basque Country; because we want and are able to broadcast our research; because we want to explain to the locals all that we do internationally; because we want to know which are the research subjects in the Basque Country; because we want to meet those who may become our collaborators; and because no matter what our area of research is, we are able to speak about any matter in Basque!

IkerGazte is on the way to becoming the reference for Basque researchers. For all the above reasons we, the UEU (Udako Euskal Unibertsitatea or Basque Summer University, www.ueu.eus) and the Organizing Committe invite you all to participate in IkerGazte2019 that will be held in Bayonne/Baiona on the 27 th -28 th -29 th May. No matter what research area you work in, come to Bayonne/Baiona: there is indeed a Basque researchers community that do research on Arts & Humanities, Social Sciences, Natural Sciences, Technology & Architecture and in Health Sciences. Be part of the Basque researchers’ meeting, get to know hundreds of young researchers, discover research-works that may be close (or not so close) to your research area.

Have you finished your PhD? Did you finish 3-4 years ago? Are you just about to finish? Come! This is your chance to explain your results to the Basque researchers’ community!
